Setting up a Company

Before creating a company, we will need to understand your requirements.

In particular we will agree:

  • what the company will do
  • who will own the company
  • where it will operate
  • what its assets will be
  • who will constitute the board of directors.

We will need to determine whether there are any additional matters that must be dealt with in the Memorandum and Articles of Association which govern the powers and duties of the Directors. In addition, international taxation and legal matters may be highlighted during our discussions, and we can co-ordinate the relevant advice.

A Gibraltar company is formed after the Memorandum and Articles of Association are submitted to the Companies Registry which issues a Certificate of Incorporation. Once the company has been incorporated, it may begin operations.
